Trainer: David Acord has over nine years of
professional teaching and training experience. Focusing in the sport of
Three-day Eventing, David uses the German Training Scale as a standard
tool to help teach both horse and rider the principles of collection,
straightness, impulsion, connection, relaxation and rhythm. David is
Level 2 certified with the ICP program through the United States
Eventing Association. Lessons given may focus on dressage, stadium
jumping, and/or cross-country jumping and may be geared towards pleasure
or competition. Cross-country camps, clinics and schoolings are offered
throughout the year. David is up to date on his CPR and First Aid
certifications. David is currently bringing along a young 4-star
prospect.Competitor: David has been competing in the sport of
Three-day Eventing for over 10 years. He has been the National Top 10
Rider under the age of 21, Long listed for the 2004 Olympic Games, Long
listed for the 2004 Pan American Games, 8th in the Nation for riders
under 25, 34th place at Fair Hill CCI***, 10th at World Cup Qualifier
CCI***, 5th Colorado Horse Park Advanced, 2nd Copper Meadows Advanced.
